Before you order
Little Creek Tallow is made in small batches with grass-fed, grass-finished American tallow and premium botanical aromatics. We keep the formulas simple and do not water the tallow down with olive oil or any other carrier oil, so you can feel good about what you are putting on your skin.
Best first jar: Unscented if you are sensitive, Lavender Vanilla if you want soft and calming, Coconut Vanilla if you like warm and sweet, and Cedarwood Vanilla if you prefer grounded and woodsy.

What is tallow cream?
Tallow cream is a rich moisture cream made with rendered beef tallow. Our tallow comes from grass-fed, grass-finished American cattle and is whipped into a smooth, lotion-like texture that melts into skin without being diluted by olive oil or other carrier oils.
Why does tallow work so well for dry skin?
The outer skin barrier is supported by lipids. Tallow is naturally rich in fatty acids such as stearic, palmitic, and oleic acids, which help soften the skin surface and reduce moisture loss. That is why dry, rough, tight-feeling areas can feel more comfortable quickly.
Is it safe for eczema-prone or sensitive skin?
Many people with very dry or reactive skin prefer simple, unscented formulas. Our Unscented cream is the best choice for eczema-prone or highly sensitive skin because it has no added scent. Patch test first, and speak with a healthcare professional for open, infected, or medically diagnosed skin conditions.
Do you use fragrance oils?
No. We do not use synthetic fragrance oils. Coconut and vanilla use premium CO2 extracts. Lavender Vanilla uses high-altitude French lavender essential oil with luxurious vanilla CO2 extract. Cedarwood Vanilla uses premium Texas cedarwood essential oil with luxurious vanilla CO2 extract.
Does it smell like tallow?
Our scented versions do not have a noticeable tallow smell. The Unscented version may have a very mild natural tallow note because we keep the formula simple and do not cover it with synthetic fragrance.
Use & Care
How much should I use?
Start with less than you think. A pea-sized amount can cover a surprisingly large area. Warm it between your fingers, press it into skin, and add more only if needed.
Can I use it on my face?
Yes, many customers love Unscented as a simple face moisturizer. Use a very tiny amount, apply to slightly damp skin, and patch test first if you are prone to clogged pores or sensitivity.
Is it whipped?
Yes, but not into a fluffy mousse. We whip it just enough to create a smooth, creamy consistency that feels more like a rich lotion and is easy to apply.
How should I store it?
Store your jar in a cool, dry place away from heat and sunlight. Tallow naturally softens with warmth and firms up when cool. If it melts during shipping or in a hot room, let it return to room temperature and stir gently if needed.
How long does it last?
Best used within 12 months. Always use clean, dry hands or a cosmetic spatula to keep water out of the jar.
